We had the pleasure to meet Seb Lee-Delisle in Brighton a digital artist and speaker. His mission is to show and encourage programmers and other to be more creative when coding through workshops and presentations. Seb Lee has won a lot of awards through the years.
To listen when he talked about the old good games from the time where the commodore 64 was the newest device with Jupiter Lander woke all the fun memories of the past and what we have now.
The interesting things was the mix of the old coding style from the past and how Seb Lee manage to take it to the next level into the future with the interaction and all the time push the limit to see how fare he can get like the Pixelpyros a digital fireworks display that you control.
We did asked him some questions and one of them was:
- Which one of your projects made you most proud and why?
The answer was that every projects has its own goal and effect so he could not tell which one was the most proud.
Did I get what expected from the meeting with Seb Lee?
The answer to that was no. I was expected more about the code behind the projects and learn from him, but it was inspirational and funny to see another way to express your self when you are a digital artist.
